Beginning August 30, 2004, Peterbilt Illinois – Rockford will begin a 24-hour workday. Now Peterbilt Illinois – Rockford will be open 24 hours beginning Monday at 7 am till Noon on Saturday. “We've seen other semi-truck service centers have either stopped their third shift operations or have no plans to add one. We've felt that many customers can benefit from a third shift service center in the area,” says GM Richard Yezzi. Customers will not only benefit from the extra flexibility and less downtime but also gain from the third shift service specials. One special is an oil change for $99.95 instead of a usual oil change for $149.95.
Since Peterbilt Illinois – Rockford's arrival in July of 2003, the dealership has more than doubled it's workforce, “We are looking to add more employees in all three of our departments—sales, service, and parts,” Yezzi added.
