Decker Truck Line, Inc. will be taking delivery of its 1,000 th Peterbilt truck on February 10, 2006. A major interstate carrier, the company purchased the Model 379 from Peterbilt Wisconsin-Madison, and will be recognized during a ceremony to be held at 2:00 pm at the Decker headquarters in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
“Decker Truck Line, Inc. has been a key customer of Peterbilt Wisconsin for the past 22 years, and we look forward to celebrating their 2000 th Peterbilt truck in the near future,” said Herman Goth, General Manager.
Commenting on the milestone event, Decker Truck Line, Inc. President and CEO, Don Decker said, “Decker Truck Line, Inc. exceeds 97 percent on-time delivery performance. Our Peterbilt trucks are a key factor in helping us deliver the high-quality service for which we're known.”
Founded in 1931 by Dale & Loren Decker, Decker Truck Line, Inc. has grown to over $100 million in annual sales, with a fleet of 525 trucks. The transportation company, based in Fort Dodge, Iowa, specializes in flatbed and reefer/van services, transporting building materials and refrigerated goods.
