Nearly 400 representatives from Peterbilt dealerships’ parts and service departments from across the country met in St. Louis recently for the Peterbilt Customer Service Conference. Representatives attended business strategy meetings, participated in workshops and honored their peers receiving Manager of Excellence awards.
According to Peterbilt General Manager and PACCAR Vice President Bill Jackson, the central message of the two-day event was the “Power to Perform and the Edge to Succeed.” “Peterbilt is committed to complete customer satisfaction and it’s our goal to recognize and reward the best of the best with our annual awards,” says Jackson.
Several team members of Peterbilt Wisconsin & Illinois were honored for their contributions to their dealerships throughout 2006. Two team members and a dealership took home top awards, naming them the best out of 241 Peterbilt dealerships nationwide. These awards arebased on numerous criteria, including customer satisfaction index scores, department participation in ongoing training, improvements to facilities and utilization of the latest technologies and tools.
2007 National Service Manager of Excellence
The 2007 National Service Manager of Excellence for Peterbilt is Dan Shoemaker, Peterbilt Wisconsin - Madison. As the Service Manager at Peterbilt Wisconsin - Madison, Dan has upgraded his shop with facility and productivity upgrades, while enhancing his service management team. His success led to increased responsibility including the oversight of all Body Shop operations.
National Warranty Manager of Excellence
The 2007 National Warranty Manager of Excellence for Peterbilt is Mike Leverenz, Peterbilt Wisconsin & Illinois. As the Corporate Warranty Manager Mike has created a corporate system for the warranty of parts that facilitates quick turn-a-round and less warranty rejection.
Other Excellence Awards
Peterbilt Illinois - Bloomington was awarded "Top Achieving Standards of Excellence Dealers - Service." In addition, Daryle Schempp, Peterbilt Illinois - Bloomington was recognized as a "PACCAR PX Engine Technician National Finalist."
