Peterbilt Illinois Rockford announces the expansion of their facility on Linden Rd., just off of I-20 and Alpine Rd. A groundbreaking event will take place on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 1:30pm with the Rockford Chamber of Commerce.
According to Rich Yezzi, Peterbilt Illinois Rockford's General Manager, This expansion means a lot for the Rockford community, in addition to adding up to 30 jobs, this expansion may lead to increased sales which equals increased tax revenue for Rockford. Despite the current U.S. economic downturn, Peterbilt Illinois Rockford is growing. Providing an increased ability to serve the community and its customers.
Rockford contractor, Ringland Johnson, will complete the expansion; the project is expected to take 2-3 months. Upon completion, the expansion will boost the facility square footage from its current 11,445 to 21,346 sq ft. This includes increasing office space, increasing the display area and doubling the size of the service shop. In addition, the new facility will increase the parking lot improving maneuverability for customers.
